Experience the total solar eclipse in Siwa Oasis on a seven-day journey combining Cairo’s ancient landmarks with the landscapes of Egypt’s Western Desert. Begin with an evening Nile dinner cruise, then explore the Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum before travelling west to Siwa.
Both journeys between Cairo and Siwa are by road in air-conditioned transport, with regular breaks and lunch stops. These are long travel days, balanced by three consecutive nights at your Siwa eco-lodge and a full day in the oasis before the eclipse.

Join organised viewing from a suitable area in Siwa Oasis. Arrive before the partial phases begin and keep the main viewing period free from sightseeing and travel between destinations.
Your experience includes a briefing, eclipse glasses, drinking water, seating and shaded rest space. Follow the viewing guidance throughout the event and take breaks in the shade when you need them.
Eclipse-day lunch is included. The meal and any local transfers are arranged around the viewing programme, so you can follow the eclipse without rushing away. Afterwards, enjoy a relaxed afternoon at your eco-lodge, with dinner included that evening.
