Nile Empire ("we", "us") operates nileempire.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers privacy only. For booking terms see our Terms & Conditions, and for cancellations and refunds see our Cancellation Policy.
Information you give us. When you submit an enquiry, tailor-made request, or cruise/tour form, you provide details such as your name, email, phone number, nationality or country, travel dates, number of travellers, trip interests, and any message you send.
Information collected automatically. With analytics consent, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity collect technical and usage information to help us understand and improve the site. Necessary security tools, including Cloudflare Turnstile on enquiry forms, operate independently of optional analytics consent. When you send an enquiry, we also record with it whether you had allowed analytics at that moment and whether Google’s tags had loaded; we use this only to check our measurement.
Payments. We do not collect card or bank details through this website, so none are stored here. After we confirm availability and your final price, payment is arranged separately by secure payment link or bank transfer.
Necessary storage supports site security and your saved preferences. Optional analytics and advertising storage are off until you choose. Visiting this website or reading this policy does not grant consent.
Accept turns on both analytics and advertising permissions. Analytics permits Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to measure visits, page use and contact-button clicks, and lets us remember campaign sources. Advertising permits advertising storage, campaign measurement and ad personalisation; storing campaign click identifiers also requires analytics permission. A WhatsApp click records a link opening, not a sent message or completed conversation. If you arrive from an advertisement or campaign link and have not chosen yet, the campaign details from that link, such as an ad click identifier, may be included in the address of the pages you open on this site; we do not save them in cookies or local storage before you choose, although they can appear in your browser history. If you then allow analytics, permitted campaign details may be measured from that moment, and ad click identifiers are removed from the address unless you also allow advertising. If you reject, they are no longer carried to new pages.
Reject keeps optional storage off. Settings lets you choose analytics and advertising separately. Browsing, enquiry forms and WhatsApp links work without either permission. Use Change preferences below at any time to change your choices or withdraw consent.
Your choice and consented browser campaign attribution last up to 90 days. Campaign attribution attached to an enquiry is cleared after 180 days; this does not delete the enquiry. Withdrawing consent stops optional collection and clears browser campaign storage or advertising identifiers as appropriate. These periods do not describe all enquiry records or the analytics providers’ separate data retention.
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes and itineraries, send a confirmation of your request, arrange and support your trip, answer questions, and improve our website. We may contact you about your enquiry or booking. We do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to.
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the website and respond to you: our email-delivery provider, our analytics and security providers, and the local suppliers needed to arrange a trip you requested. We do not sell your personal information. Some providers process data outside Egypt; where that happens we rely on their standard data-protection safeguards.
Nile Empire uses internal tools, used only by our own team, that connect to Google services (Google Ads, Google Search Console and Google Analytics) through Google APIs. These tools access only Nile Empire's own accounts, with read-only access where possible, to review keyword data and website performance. We do not access data of other Google users, and we do not sell, share, or transfer this data to third parties or use it for advertising. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We keep enquiry and booking information for as long as needed to assist you and to meet legal or accounting requirements, then delete or anonymise it. Analytics data is retained per our analytics provider's settings.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it. Email info@nileempire.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.
Our site may link to other websites, such as our social media or review pages. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their own policies.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the latest version.
