Your underwater adventure begins when a Nile Empire representative picks you up from your hotel in Hurghada. We transfer you to the Diving Center, where our professional team will help you select your equipment box—wetsuit, fins, and mask—ensuring a perfect fit for your comfort.
We then board our boat and sail towards the protected waters near Giftun Island, home to some of the most spectacular reefs in the region. Unlike a standard Giftun Island Snorkeling Trip, your Hurghada Scuba Diving Day Trip takes you deeper into the action.
The day typically includes two dive stops at different locations. Do I need a diving license to join this trip?
No, you do not need a license to enjoy the “Introductory Dive.” You will be paired with an instructor who will handle all the technical aspects while you enjoy the view. However, if you are a certified diver (PADI/SSI), please bring your card so we can take you to deeper, more advanced sites.
Is it safe for beginners?
Absolutely. Hurghada is one of the best places in the world to learn. Our instructors are fully certified and follow strict safety protocols. For beginners, the dives are shallow, calm, and closely supervised at a ratio of one instructor per one or two divers.
Can I fly immediately after diving?
For safety reasons, it is recommended to wait at least 18-24 hours after your last dive before flying. Please plan your trip so that your diving day is not on the same day as your flight home.
Is lunch included on the boat?
Yes, a freshly prepared buffet lunch is served on the boat between the two dives, along with unlimited soft drinks and water to keep you hydrated throughout the day.
What if I have family members who don’t want to dive?
Non-divers are welcome to join the boat trip! They can snorkel, swim, or simply relax on the sun deck while you dive. We offer a reduced “passenger/snorkeler” rate for them.
