Step onto the white sands of the “Egyptian Maldives” with our Orange Bay Snorkeling Tour. Located on the sheltered side of Giftun Island, Orange Bay is famous for its shallow turquoise waters, wooden swings in the sea, and boho-chic atmosphere. It is the ultimate spot for relaxation and Instagram-worthy photos. Before we dock on this paradise, we take you to explore the vibrant coral reefs of the Red Sea. It is a day of sun, salt, and serenity, perfect for those who want a more stylish island experience compared to the classic Giftun Island Snorkeling Trip.

Your island escape begins in the morning when a Nile Empire representative picks you up from your hotel in Hurghada. We transfer you to the marina, where our comfortable yacht awaits.
As we set sail across the sparkling Red Sea, the fresh sea breeze sets the mood. Our first priority is to show you the underwater treasures. We make two snorkeling stops at hand-picked coral reef sites. Here, you can swim alongside schools of tropical fish and marvel at the colorful coral formations.
Next, we sail to the main event: Orange Bay. As you approach, the water turns an impossible shade of turquoise. We dock, and you have roughly two hours to enjoy the island. You can lounge under the wooden umbrellas, walk along the pristine white sand, or wade in the knee-deep water to take photos on the famous sea swings.
After soaking up the island vibes, we return to the boat for a delicious Buffet Lunch featuring fresh local dishes, served with soft drinks.
The return journey to the marina is a relaxing cruise, often accompanied by music and entertainment on deck. Our driver will be waiting at the port to transfer you back to your hotel.
For a completely different landscape tomorrow, why not swap the sea for the sand dunes on a Hurghada Bedouin Desert Safari?
If you are planning to travel further south, this relaxing day is a great precursor to a Satayh Dolphin Snorkeling Tour in Marsa Alam. And for those on a longer journey, this tour is a highlight of our 12 Days Luxury Egypt Package.

Orange Bay is unique because of its geography. The beach slopes so gently into the sea that you can walk out for hundreds of meters with the water only reaching your waist. The sea floor is soft white sand, with no rocks or corals to step on, making it incredibly safe for children and relaxing for adults. The island is designed with aesthetics in mind—wooden walkways, rustic bean bags, and swings set right in the water—making it one of the most photogenic locations in all of Egypt.
Relax in style on the Red Sea! Book your Orange Bay Snorkeling Tour now.
No. While soft drinks and water are free and unlimited on the boat, any drinks or snacks you wish to purchase while on Orange Bay island itself must be paid for separately at the island’s beach bars.
We typically spend about 1.5 to 2 hours on Orange Bay. This gives you plenty of time to swim, take photos, and relax on the bean bags before we head back to the boat for lunch.
Yes, please bring your own beach towel, swimwear, sunscreen, and sunglasses. The boat does not provide towels.
Absolutely. You can enjoy the boat ride and the island without needing to swim deep. Orange Bay’s water is very shallow, so you can just stand or sit in the water. Life jackets are also available for everyone on the boat.
Some boats are equipped with WiFi, but the signal can be unreliable at sea. We recommend disconnecting and enjoying the beautiful Red Sea views!
