Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

1. Booking Agreement

By booking any tour or service with Nile Empire, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, which form a binding agreement between you (the “Client”) and Nile Empire (the “Company”).

2. Booking, Deposits & Payment

Booking with Nile Empire follows a clear sequence. When you press Book Now and send us your details, you start the booking process. Our team then confirms availability and your final price. Once you are happy to proceed, the applicable deposit is paid, and your booking is secured only when we receive it. Sending a booking request on its own does not hold or guarantee a reservation.

Deposits required to secure a booking:

  • 25% for day tours, excursions, airport transfers and similar standalone services.
  • 50% for multi-day packages and Nile cruises, whether or not they include hotels or flights.
  • 60% for travel during peak periods: Christmas, New Year, Easter and equivalent exceptional dates.

Where travel falls in a peak period, the 60% rate replaces the 25% or 50% that would otherwise apply. Peak periods are the exceptional dates listed above. They are not the same as Egypt’s wider high season, which runs broadly from September to April; travelling in high season does not by itself change the deposit.

Payment is made by secure payment link or bank transfer, as advised by our team. The remaining balance and its payment schedule are stated in your booking confirmation.

Until the applicable deposit is received, prices and availability are not guaranteed.

For refund conditions and cancellation timelines, please refer to our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

3. Inclusions & Exclusions

Your confirmed itinerary includes only the services explicitly listed. The following are not included unless stated:

  • Visa fees
  • Optional tours or personal expenses
  • Meals not mentioned
  • Travel insurance
  • Gratuities

4. Amendments & Special Requests

  • Booking modifications are subject to availability and may incur extra charges, especially for flights or accommodations.
  • Special requests (dietary needs, room preferences, etc.) should be made at the time of booking and will be accommodated when possible.

5. Travel Documents

Clients are responsible for securing all required documentation, including:

  • A valid passport (minimum 6 months from entry date)
  • Entry visas
  • Health certifications (if required)

Nile Empire is not responsible for denial of entry due to missing or incorrect documents.

6. Health & Insurance

  • Travelers must be physically fit for their trip.
  • Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, delays, or loss of belongings.

7. Children’s Policy

  • Under 6 years: Free of charge (excluding flights)
  • 6-11 years: 50% of adult rate
  • 12 years and above: Full adult rate

Note: Children must be accompanied by an adult. Airlines may charge full or partial fares for children.

8. Responsibility & Liability

Nile Empire acts solely as an agent for transport, accommodation, and third-party services. We are not liable for:

  • Injury, illness, delay, loss, or damage
  • Weather conditions, force majeure, or political unrest
  • Changes or failures by hotels, airlines, or providers

All additional costs due to such events are the client’s responsibility.

9. Traveler Conduct

Clients must respect Egyptian laws and customs. Nile Empire may terminate services without refund for any disruptive, offensive, or dangerous behavior.

10. Force Majeure

In case of war, natural disasters, pandemics, or other unforeseen events, Nile Empire reserves the right to cancel or modify services. While credits or alternatives may be offered when possible, no refunds or compensation are guaranteed in these situations. This does not affect the separate rule for standalone services: where Nile Empire cancels one of the day tours, excursions, airport transfers and similar standalone services for weather or safety reasons, it is always refunded in full or rescheduled at no cost, as set out in our Cancellation Policy.

11. Complaints & Assistance

Please report any issues during your trip so we can assist in real time. Complaints received only after return may be harder to resolve.

12. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any legal disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cairo.
